SOLAR CONSUMPTION PLANNING
Document the electricity your home is expected to use, including planned equipment such as an EV. Share the loads and assumptions behind the total with your installer or utility.
Free walkthrough and dashboard. $19 once unlocks both PDFs for this household.
A year's bills may not describe a newly occupied home or equipment you have yet to install. An unexplained annual total makes it hard for someone else to check the assumptions.
Separate existing equipment from planned additions, enter their expected use, and compare the home with and without the planned loads. Watt Wisdom recalculates them together so related heating and cooling equipment is not treated as independent demand.
Before buying a report for a submission, ask your installer or utility what it requires. You can inspect both sample formats first.
The home's location, occupants, fuels and major electrical loads. Add dated bills if available and identify whether they show home consumption, grid imports or net imports.
Mark which loads are planned. For an EV, include mileage, energy use per mile and home-charging share; for replacement equipment, identify what it displaces.
Nameplate or selected-product details for heating, cooling, water heating and other large loads. Check quantities, operating hours and shared physical systems.
Confirm the property address, bill history, required supporting documents and whether any professional review is needed. The report does not establish those requirements.
Watt Wisdom estimates consumption. It does not calculate PV output, choose solar or battery size, include an engineering seal, or guarantee utility acceptance.
